Onyx is DNA tested to be homozygous for the black gene.  He was Grand or Reserve Champion Halter Stallion every time out except once when he was being shown, and is a producer of International Champions, too!    He is a Sweepstakes nominated sire and is SCID clear.  Cooled shipped semen is available.  Onyx is available for public stud.

Onyx's sire is the world renown straight Egyptian stallion Thee Desperado.  Thee Desperado had an illustrious show career but now has proven his value as a sire of Champions worldwide.  You can view a Photo of the multi-Champion Thee Desperado.

Onyx's dam is the Polish mare Shakirra who is a Regional Top 5 Halter winner and a dam of Champions.  She is a Bey Shah daughter who is out of the National Top Ten mare Sierra Baskita who is by Port Bask.  You can view a Photo of Onyx's halter winning dam.

Thee Onyx is the result of a straight Egyptian sire and a Polish dam, giving him the best of both worlds.  He is a unique individual from two of the most sought after bloodlines today - Thee Desperado and Bey Shah.
