Can you say "exotic"?  A truly breathtaking black stallion that has an awesome head, correct legs, balanced body and a lovely topline.

The Sabbath S- sire of Champions!

Sabbath is DNA tested by UC Davis to be homozygous for the black gene.  He is tall and elegant -- exhibiting substance with refinement.  He was Reserve Champion Junior Halter Stallion his first time shown.  Sabbath is also proving himself as a sire of Champions -- in fact, to date, every foal shown that has been sired by Sabbath is a Champion!   Regretfully, we do not offer shipped semen for Sabbath at this time.

Sabbath's sire, The Prophecy, only produced 22 registered foals before his untimely death at age 9.  Shortly before his death the Prophecy daughter Black Lite++/ became a National Champion!  She also has numerous Regional, Scottsdale and Class A Championships.  You can view a short Video clip of Sabbath's sire, The Prophecy.

Sabbath's dam, Basks Royal Tessa, is a gorgeous 15 hand black mare.  Her sire is a son of Bask Knight, a black son of *Bask.  You can view a Photo of Sabbath's dam, Basks Royal Tessa, when she was in foal with Sabbath.

Sabbath is a unique blend of Polish, Spanish, Egyptian and Domestic blood.  You can view his interactive Pedigree at All Breed Pedigree.  By clicking on individual horses names you can view available photos, info and extended pedigrees on each animal.  Be sure to use your Back Button to return to the Sapphire Farms website.

Sabbath is not only beautiful but is an extremely athletic individual, too.  His temperament is wonderful - he was raised and handled almost exclusively by women.  He is passing on his exceptional disposition to his foals.
